Therefore, this study aims to determine the pedagogical implications of QS Al-Ahzab verses 45-48 regarding teachers' duties and functions as educators. For many years, various studies on teachers in Islamic education based on the interpretation of the holy verses of the Al-Qur'an have been carried out. The actualization of the values that existed in the holy book of the Al-Qur'an is expected to become a main reference in the pedagogic development. Similarly, the profession of teachers should be done professionally. Therefore, it can be understood that the Koran gives the signal that work must be done professionally. Both words mean place, degree, position, ability, strength, people situation, best ability possessed by someone, or a constant situation of something that happens continuously all the time. The teacher's professionalism in the Quran is actually derived from the opinion of the mufassirs who emphasize the meaning of the word ‘ala makanatikum (Surah al-An'am verse 135, Surah Hud verse 93 and 121, Surah Al-Zumar verse 39) and the word ‘ala syakilatihi (on surah Al-Isra verse 84). ![]() Whatever type of profession is carried, it should be done professionally. Profesionalisme merupakan paham yang mengajarkan bahwa setiap pekerjaan harus dilakukan oleh orang yang profesional. Sedangkan pendidikan sebagai praktek merupakan aktivitas manusia mendidik peserta didik untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu yang diidealkan. Pendidikan sebagai teori berupa pemikiran manusia mengenai masalah-masalah kependidikan dan upaya memecahkannya secara mendasar dan sistematis. ![]()
